Listening to mugglecast on iTunes. Really good, you should check it out. I'm on a knitting slump, so I'm taking a break. Maybe you can check it out.

Good Morning!

I recently was told that the lady who has ovarian cancer needs us to come on Monday! If this works out, it will be great. She is just now healing from her surgery and hasn't started chemotherapy yet, so she will probably be the best she will be in a while. Pray me luck!

Life's little wonders....

Yesterday I had happened to glimpse outside and saw a baby squirrel. Everybody say "aww"!

I also am 5% complete with a new project I'm doing! (Not another, but the one I had been talking about.) The new mystery project is an American Girl Doll bedset! I am making one big pink pillow with two small purple pillows and a checkerboard blanket! I have finished one side of the big pillow and am starting on the other one. Gotta write an essay. Bye all you fellow knitters!

Another?!

I know it may seem I have many, many projects ALREADY started, but it would only add to the stress (how great) to start another one. Which is exactly what I did. Yes, I did it again.

Hope.

A very dear family friend was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Most times when this happens to someone we know, we are determined to take action and do something. I am among these. I have decided to do anything I can to get my knitting to cancer patients. When I go visit my friend in her home (she hasn't started chemotherapy yet) I will donate all the hats I have completed to the cancer ward she is going to stay in. This will hopefully give total strangers I sense that other people other than their family is there for them. I hope to bring hope.

Whoops, sorry-

So sorry I haven't posted in a long long time. So here's the skinny. I knitted 2 hats.

Here's one. I lost the pic of the other one. I call it the Starfish hat due to the way the top looks.

If any of you know me on ravelry and keep up with my current projects you will know that I am knitting a stuffed mouse. It is nearly finished, and I will post pics as soon as it is.

Light a candle!

I can't wait for the 21st! I will then go and light a candle for all of those lost during abortion. I have already mentioned that, but I cannot tell you how excited I am. I have always wanted to to one of those things. It may not help the people change their minds about it, but atleast I can show the people who care that they are not alone in this losing battle. As my mom once said, "People are getting arrested for animal abuse in a country where it is okay to kill children." Wrong, man. Just wrong.

Song that I cannot get outta my head!

This song is really catchy. I assure you it is. If you take the time to watch it, then I guarantee you by the end of the day you'll be humming or singing atleast a part of this song. Really random and off-topic, but I just felt the need to post this.

Layed off.

I have sorta been lazy about knitting in the past couple days. School has absorbed me. DeviantArt has too. I am currently knitting a scarf for my sis' American Girl Doll to match the hat. But, as I said before, I am being lazy. Real lazy. So lazy that I went to the library and decided to use the wi-fi. AND I WAS SURROUNDED BY BOOKS! Cheese for Louise, I need a pep talk. Pep talk, anybody?

HP

I am stuck, and I need an idea for knitting. I am working on a scarf, but I need something more. Something to quench that thirst I have for HP. I have n0 idea. A scarf? A hat? Socks? The list is endless, but what to do? If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them and they would be much appreciated.

Didn't work out...

My little baby hat didn't work out. It turned out to look more like a beret than anything. And it was way to small. So, I decided to give it to my sister for her American Girl Doll. Time spent to make it? About 3 hours. I did it on my new looms that I got for Xmas. I am hoping to go light a candle for all the babies who lost their lives to abortion on the 21st. My mom is skeptical and doesn't believe that that is going to help. I disagree. It's the little things that make a difference. And if she won't drive me, I'll hitch a ride. I am going. Yes I am.

Crisis Pregnancy

Today at church our pastor preached about abortion, and how it is wrong. I sobbed throughout the whole shaboodle of the dang sermon. Which brings me to a point, people just don't care. You don't sleep around for fun. And, if you DO get pregnant, don't cut off it's life. People who think abortion is okay are wrong. "What if it was an accident?" They say. Are you saying that life is an accident? A mistake? Well, anyway, the other point I am trying to get across is an idea of mine. Maybe if we knit hats for babies and give them to people considering abortion. Not donating to your local crisis pregnancy center, but delivering them YOURSELF. If I got pregnant, and I had someone give me a hat and maybe a chat from a person I didn't even know, I would be touched. Just a little quicky idea. Starting on one now.

New Blog!

Yes, after many failed attempts at trying to keep a blog or diary, here is another test! I will try to keep this one up, unlike the many others I did not. I won't update every day, but I will try to often. This blog is for pictures and updates of my knitting. So don't expect political opinion, personal info, or anything else of that sort.
